Private jet charter from Doha to Dubai
Doha → Dubai
DubaiPrices reviewed:
Fifty-five minutes south-east, the same short hop flown the other way — and because neither city had a published market rate for this pair before now, the figure quoted here is modelled, not observed, exactly as on the Dubai–Doha page. What changes with the direction is the airport choice: Doha gives you one field and no alternative; Dubai gives you two, and which one you land at depends on where in the city you are actually going.

How long is the flight from Doha to Dubai?
About 55 minutes block time over the same roughly 380 km (235 nm), flown in reverse. The geography does not care which way you are going, but the day often does: a Doha departure in the late morning lands in Dubai in time for an afternoon meeting in DIFC, and the same aircraft can have you back in Doha for dinner — a genuine same-day double that the region's airline shuttle, dense as it is, makes harder to assemble once you count the processing time at both ends. As on the outbound leg, there is no land alternative worth considering: Qatar's only land frontier is with Saudi Arabia, so a surface route runs to roughly 1,100 km through two borders rather than the direct 380 km flown overhead.
Which airport in Dubai, and what Doha offers instead
Hamad International is where this flight starts, and the only civil field Qatar has — there is no second Doha airport to choose between, so the only decision on departure is the handler: Qatar Executive's own FBO terminal or Qatar Aviation Services' general-aviation handling, both working the same nine-stand apron away from the passenger building. Dubai is where the choice actually sits. Al Maktoum (DWC) is the region's business-aviation base — more ramp, faster handling, and no competition with airline slots — and it is 37 km out, roughly half an hour to Downtown. Dubai International (DXB) is 10 km from the centre and the better call for a meeting inside DIFC, but general aviation there shares slots with scheduled airline traffic, coordinated through the handlers based on the field rather than requested directly.
How much does a private jet from Doha to Dubai cost?
From about €7,500 one way — the same figure as the outbound leg, and deliberately so. Unlike Riyadh–Dubai and Dubai–Riyadh, where the two directions land on the same number because dense two-way traffic flattens the usual cost of positioning, here the reason is simpler: there is no published market data for this pair at all, in either direction, so there is nothing to read an asymmetry from. We would rather quote one honest, conservative figure than invent a directional gap we cannot support. What does move the real quote is what Dubai's side of the market offers rather than demands. The charter fleet based around both cities skews toward super-midsize and heavy cabins built for longer regional and intercontinental sectors, so a 380 km hop is routinely flown on more aircraft than it needs — and that is what sets the entry price above a comparable European leg.
Empty legs between Doha and Dubai
No different from the outbound answer, and for the same reason: this is an unestablished corridor with no published history, so we cannot quote a frequency in either direction without inventing one. What is worth knowing is where a repositioning leg is more likely to originate. Dubai's business-aviation fleet is larger and more geographically central to the wider Gulf-to-Europe-to-Asia network than Doha's, so an aircraft that flew into Doha for one trip is somewhat more likely to reposition back toward Dubai empty than the reverse — but that is a structural plausibility, not a measured pattern, and we are not going to dress it up as one. Book this leg as a standard charter and ask about flexibility on the hour rather than the date; across the Gulf pairs we do have data for, that is what actually turns an empty leg into a booking.
Which aircraft actually fly Doha to Dubai
The same three types as the outbound leg, for the same reason: 380 km and 55 minutes ask nothing of range, so cabin and luggage decide the aircraft rather than distance. A Phenom 300 or Citation XLS+ suits four to six passengers with cases comfortably; a Challenger 350 is the usual step up for eight or nine, or when the Dubai stop is a connection to somewhere the shorter-range types cannot reach. Expect to be offered the larger of the two options more often than the sector strictly needs — the fleet positioned around Dubai in particular is weighted toward super-midsize and heavy cabins, because that is what the emirate's longer sectors into Europe and Asia are built around, and a 380 km repositioning or short charter is, for that aircraft, barely a warm-up.
The season, and why your aircraft may not wait
Hamad's general-aviation apron has nine Code C stands — not a large number against a calendar that gets genuinely busy. The Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix fills Lusail and the surrounding ramp from 27 to 29 November 2026, squarely inside the Gulf's November-to-March season. February brings the WTA's Qatar Open (8–14 February 2026) and the ATP's Qatar ExxonMobil Open (16–21 February) back to back at the same Doha venue, and Web Summit Qatar opens the month before that, 1 to 4 February. On any of those weeks, an aircraft that is not continuing on with you is the one that leaves rather than waits — nine stands fill quickly when half of Doha's visiting delegations want to park at once. That is also, structurally, where an occasional empty leg toward Dubai is most likely to come from, though we still will not quote you a frequency for it.
Typical aircraft
| Aircraft | Passengers | Range | Cruise speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embraer Phenom 300 | 8 | 3,650 km | ≈ 840 km/h |
| Cessna Citation XLS+ | 8 | 3,400 km | ≈ 815 km/h |
| Bombardier Challenger 350 | 9 | 5,900 km | ≈ 850 km/h |
Estimated one-way charter for the whole aircraft. The exact price depends on the aircraft and date, and is always quoted on request.
Frequently asked questions
- How long is a private flight from Doha to Dubai?
- About 55 minutes over roughly 380 km, the same distance flown on the Dubai–Doha leg in reverse. A same-day double meeting — Dubai in the afternoon, home to Doha for dinner — fits comfortably inside one crew day.
- How much does a private jet from Doha to Dubai cost?
- From about €7,500 one way, the same figure as the outbound direction. There is no published market data for this pair yet in either direction, so we quote one conservative, derived figure rather than an invented directional gap. Every trip is quoted individually.
- Are there empty legs from Doha to Dubai?
- We do not yet have the history to say. Dubai's charter fleet is larger than Doha's, so a repositioning leg back toward Dubai is structurally plausible — but that is not a measured frequency, and we will not quote one we cannot support. Ask with flexibility on the hour.
- Do I need a visa to enter the UAE from Doha?
- GCC nationals, including Qatari citizens, enter the UAE without a visa. Many other nationalities qualify for visa-on-arrival; everyone else needs a visa arranged before departure. Confirm against your own passport at the enquiry stage rather than assuming.
- Should I land at DXB or DWC when flying in from Doha?
- Al Maktoum (DWC) is the Gulf's business-aviation base — more ramp, faster handling — and 37 km from Downtown. Dubai International (DXB), 10 km out, is the better call for a meeting inside DIFC, but its general-aviation slots are shared with airline traffic.
- How far ahead should I book a flight from Doha to Dubai?
- The UAE landing permit is the binding constraint: it needs at least two clear working days' notice and names the arrival airport, so a late switch between DWC and DXB means a fresh filing, not an amendment. File as soon as the airport is decided.
